The shade

Double-walled and flared, so the light lands on the page rather than in your eyes. A nickel joint tilts the head.

The arm

The lower arm is one continuous curve. A dial at the elbow sets the reach, and the arm stays where you leave it.

After dark

A warm opal diffuser sits deep in the shade. The dimmer is a flush button set into the weighted base.
